Innovative Staff Solutions is hiring a Production Planner for a client in Decatur, IL. The ideal candidate will be outgoing and have a strong attention to detail, customer service experience, and the ability to work in a faced paced environment!
Job Details:
- Earn $14-$15/Hour!
- 1st Shift | Monday-Friday | 40 hours per week.
- Hours: 8am-5pm.
Job duties:
- Work with the shop floor planning software to schedule jobs according to manufacturing capacity
- Track expedited shipments and report movement and issues to management and sales within designated time frames
- Communicate part issues and work with purchasing for dock dates to meet customer needs
- Review open orders thirty days out and add the floor locations of WIP for the open order review
- Track manufacturing’s capacity in each area
- Review on time delivery and track the reason for missing shipments
- Review shop floor orders and place them in ended status when needed
- Notify manufacturing management of errant punches
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma.
- Good computer skills with ability to learn Windows programs and Macola.
- Ability to work required overtime to support manufacturing needs and requests from our customers.
- Able to lift up to 40 lbs and stand and/or sit for long periods of time.
