Innovative Staff Solutions is hiring an Inventory Clerk for a client in Decatur, IL. This is a temp to hire opportunity with a growing company in Decatur. We are seeking that individual who can offer previous clerical experience in a warehouse environment handling the inventory process.
Job Details: Inventory Clerk
- Earn $19.00/hour.
- 2nd shift: 2:30pm to 11:00pm.
- Monday-Friday.
- OT working 10 hours possible with Saturdays occasionally.
Job Responsibilities: Inventory Clerk
- Coordinates activities with clerks from other floor areas, the customer and/or suppliers as needed.
- Use the WMS system to updates area and shift metrics as needed.
- Generates daily, weekly or monthly reports, memos, and summaries.
- Performs basic administrative tasks for area or shift.
- Maintains filing systems and documents.
- Conduct cycle counts and inventory audits for inbound/outbound shipments.
- Participate in physical inventories as necessary.
- Resolve inventory discrepancies as needed.
- Maintain good manufacturing practices (GMPs) with emphasis on safety.
- Ensures inventory accuracy to meet client demands.
Job Requirements: Inventory Clerk
- MS Office work experience and/or previous experience with WMS.
- Detail oriented.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to demonstrate strong customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
- Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization.
