Innovative Staff Solutions is hiring an Inventory Clerk for a client in Decatur, IL. This is a temp to hire opportunity with a growing company in Decatur. We are seeking that individual who can offer previous clerical experience in a warehouse environment handling the inventory process.

Job Details: Inventory Clerk

  • Earn $19.00/hour.
  • 2nd shift: 2:30pm to 11:00pm.
  • Monday-Friday.
  • OT working 10 hours possible with Saturdays occasionally.

Job Responsibilities: Inventory Clerk

  • Coordinates activities with clerks from other floor areas, the customer and/or suppliers as needed.
  • Use the WMS system to updates area and shift metrics as needed.
  • Generates daily, weekly or monthly reports, memos, and summaries.
  • Performs basic administrative tasks for area or shift.
  • Maintains filing systems and documents.
  • Conduct cycle counts and inventory audits for inbound/outbound shipments.
  • Participate in physical inventories as necessary.
  • Resolve inventory discrepancies as needed.
  • Maintain good manufacturing practices (GMPs) with emphasis on safety.
  • Ensures inventory accuracy to meet client demands.

Job Requirements: Inventory Clerk

  • MS Office work experience and/or previous experience with WMS.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to demonstrate strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
  • Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization.
