What You’ll Do:
Coordinate and schedule transportation routes for efficient delivery.
Communicate with drivers to provide updates and resolve issues.
Utilize dispatch software and GPS systems to track shipments.
Analyze transportation data to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities and communications.
Provide excellent customer service through effective phone etiquette.
Proven experience in dispatching or logistics management.
Strong understanding of transportation planning and management principles.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Familiarity with Mcleod Loadmaster or similar dispatch software is a plus.
Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions quickly.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
