Your Responsibilities
As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the safety, efficiency, and reliability of terminal operations. Your duties will include:
Safety & Compliance
- Follow all operating and safety procedures.
- Ensure food-grade product safety and adhere to ISO Quality & Food Safety Management System standards.
- Promote and comply with personal hygiene policies and procedures.
Maintenance & Repairs
- Perform maintenance on rail switch engines, bulk liquid pumps, and tank mixers.
- Operate and maintain steam boilers independently.
- Conduct general repairs on motors, gear reducers, valves, hoses, and more.
- Maintain terminal vehicles and equipment such as pay loaders, bobcats, and manlifts.
Operations & Equipment Handling
- Safely connect/disconnect steam, air, and nitrogen hoses.
- Operate heavy machinery including forklifts, front-end loaders, and manlifts.
- Inspect and maintain storage tank components like coils, pressure relief valves, and gaskets.
General Duties
- Carry out painting, lubrication, and demolition tasks using torch sets.
- Perform filter changes and hose pressure testing.
- Maintain good housekeeping across the facility.
- Read and interpret tank charts to convert gauges into inventory data.
Training & Leadership
- Train new and current employees through on-the-job instruction.
- Communicate effectively with team members and lead by example.
