General Duties

• Report operations activities and issues to the Operations Manager and Assistant Operations Manager.
• Coordinate daily work schedules for employees.
• Monitor environmental, health, and safety activities; report any procedural or safety violations.
• Work with Operations leadership and HSSE to ensure all statutory and regulatory requirements are met.
• Support Corporate Quality Management System (QMS) Quality Objectives.
• Support Corporate Food Safety Management System (FSMS) Quality Objectives.
• Serve as an ISO QMS & FSMS Internal Auditor and contribute as a member of the Food Safety Team.
• Maintain strict Food Grade Product Safety standards.
• Model strong work ethic, conduct, and safety practices.
• Supervise Loaders and Steamers; assist as needed.
• Blend customer products according to provided specifications.
• Perform product verification according to documented procedures.
• Visually inspect tank wagons, tank cars, and ISO containers before loading/unloading.
• Conduct load/unload sign‑offs.
• Load and unload tank wagons, tank cars, and ISO containers into designated bulk containers.
• Accurately gauge and measure temperatures in storage tanks, railcars, and containers.
• Read and interpret tank charts; convert gauges to gallons and pounds.
• Take product samples as required.
• Perform rail switching duties (conductor and/or ground).
• Perform steamer responsibilities.
• Package and ship product samples.
• Train new loaders and steamers.
• Monitor ISO Quality and Food Safety Management System requirements.
• Prepare corrective and preventive action reports.
• Promote and maintain good housekeeping standards.
• Ensure equipment is inspected and tested per required schedules.
• Enforce operational and safety procedures.
• Conduct periodic inspections of terminal areas, tanks, pumps, hoses, and related equipment.
