What You’ll Do
As a Poly Packer, you’ll help ensure product quality, accuracy, and smooth production operations.
- Inspect cups before packing to meet quality standards
- Operate and maintain case erectors and auto baggers (load film, KD, labels, and ink; perform routine cleaning and adjustments)
- Open and position new KDs on stands, stamp and number them accurately
- Place full cases on conveyors for final inspection and report quality or mechanical issues
- Sort recyclable materials and clear jams in auto baggers and case erectors
- Maintain labelers and ink printers, including purging ink and cleaning printer heads, while tracking production tallies
- Assist with product changeovers and provide coverage for other Utility Packers
- Load blanks onto inkjet labeler machines and move labeled blanks to carts for further processing
What We’re Looking For
- 1–2 years of manufacturing or production experience preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated
- Able to follow verbal and written instructions accurately
- Physically able to stand/walk up to 12 hours, lift up to 50 lbs., carry 30 lbs., and push up to 250 lbs.
- Comfortable working in varying temperatures and humidity levels
