Position Details (Assembly Tech):
- Operate production machinery.
- Assemble parts to sheet metal with screws, nuts, and bolts.
- Use hand and power tools and some basic floor power equipment.
- Assemble units as laid out and as instructed by production supervisors/group leaders.
- Read simple drawings and understand symbols and dimensions on prints.
- Knowledgeable of parts and prints required for each job and plans work efficiently using best fixtures and techniques.
- Turn off equipment when not in use.
- Follow all safety policies and procedures.
- Maintain material supply and inform supervisor of needed supplies or equipment.
- Clean and maintain work area.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Previous HVAC/plumbing experience is a plus!
Position Details (Assembly Wiring Tech):
- Install wire according to wiring strapping diagrams.
- Able to use and read a tape measure.
- Use hand tools, crimpers, soldering irons, wire strippers, and other hand and power tools.
- Read wiring diagrams, blueprints, wire routing, and engineering specifications to determine lengths, types, routing, and gauge of wiring and cables to be installed.
- Select specified wires and cables, routes according to instructions, and fastens connections by bolting, screwing, soldering, or plugging, using wrenches, screwdrivers, soldering iron, and plugging gun.
- Wire, install terminals, and mark wires.
- May stand or sit for extended periods of time.
- Clean and maintain work area.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Previous wiring/blueprint reading is required.
Position Details (Assembly Tech & Assembly Wiring Tech):
- First Shift: 7:00am – 3:30pm.
- Monday – Friday with the possibility for mandatory overtime – Overtime includes a start time of 6:00am and ½ day Saturdays.
Requirements (Assembly Tech & Assembly Wiring Tech):
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
- Ability to lift, push, pull up to 50lbs.
- Ability to stand for the duration of your shift – 8-12 hours.
- Must be able to communicate effectively.
- Must possess strong math skills and attention to detail.
- Must be able to work overtime including weekends when mandated.
