Position Details for Forklift Operator:
- Manufacture front and rear parts for automotive vehicles through molding processes.
- Load plastic parts into molding machines, ensure proper operation, and monitor production.
- Handle loading of parts for painting and unloading for packaging, ensuring quality and accuracy.
- Inspect and repair automotive parts as needed, maintaining high standards of quality control.
- Adapt to different processes and specifications for various automotive companies.
- Occasionally operate a forklift for part of the shift or for several weeks, with a $2.00 increase per hour during forklift duties.
- Second Shift: 3:00pm – 11:00pm.
- Monday – Friday with the possibility for overtime.
- Third Shift: 12:00pm – 8:00am.
- Sunday – Thursday with the possibility for overtime.
Requirements for Forklift Operator:
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Minimum of 1 year forklift experience is required.
- Must possess good teamwork and communication skills.
- Must be able to at least meet the physical demands as defined by the current production requirements and the job function evaluation.
- Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment using personal protective equipment and safety precautions.
- Must maintain an acceptable attendance record and work overtime as required.
